Finviz Elite: Your Data Source
Squeeze Radar runs on live market data from Finviz Elite. Here is what that means, why it is required, and how the two work together.
Why Finviz Elite Is Required
Squeeze Radar does not resell market data. Instead, it reads live data through your own Finviz Elite account, using a personal token you provide in your Account settings. This keeps things transparent: you hold your own data subscription, and Squeeze Radar simply scans it for you near real-time and turns it into alerts. Because of this, an active Finviz Elite subscription is required for Squeeze Radar to work.
What Finviz Elite Provides
Finviz Elite is a widely used market-analysis service. For Squeeze Radar specifically, the parts that matter are its real-time (rather than delayed) price and volume data and its extended-hours coverage, which is what lets the radar catch pre-market and after-hours moves as they happen. Elite also includes its own advanced screener, charts, and backtesting tools that many traders use directly.
Getting Finviz Elite
If you already have Finviz Elite, you are ready: just add your token in Account settings. If you do not have it yet, you can subscribe on Finviz's website.
Disclosure: the link below is an affiliate link. If you subscribe to Finviz Elite through it, Squeeze Radar may earn a commission from Finviz at no extra cost to you. We would recommend Finviz Elite regardless, because the tool genuinely requires it to function, but we want you to know about the relationship up front.
A Note on Total Cost
To be upfront: using Squeeze Radar means paying for two things, your Squeeze Radar subscription (£4.99/month) and your own Finviz Elite subscription (priced by Finviz). We mention this so there are no surprises. If you are already a Finviz Elite subscriber, Squeeze Radar adds real-time alerting on top of data you already pay for.
Squeeze Radar is not affiliated with or endorsed by Finviz beyond the standard Finviz affiliate program. Finviz Elite pricing and features are set by Finviz and may change. Squeeze Radar provides market information, not investment advice.
